As our Finance Controller, you will work closely with the external accounting team, the CEO, and the Head of IT. This position is part-time or 4/5.

The challenge

We are in search of someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong sense of ownership, and a commitment to swift execution. A proactive approach and a drive to hustle are essential.

Prepare monthly invoices and follow up on trade receivables, seeking continuous process improvements.
Coordinate with the external accountant on accounting matters and ensure accuracy.
Issue and record manual credit notes.
Support month-end closing activities in collaboration with the external accountant.
Assist in the preparation for the annual audit.
Aid in budget preparation and monitor actuals versus forecast.
Help set KPIs and follow up with Managers.
Address ad-hoc requests as needed.

Who are you?

We are looking for a dedicated Finance Controller with the following qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant, Finance Assistant, or Finance Officer.
Fluent in both Dutch and English.
A Bachelor’s (or Master's) Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
A willingness to learn and expand your skill set into areas like legal and tax.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel.
A reputation as a go-to problem solver.
Eager to learn, receptive to coaching, and driven to further your career in a startup setting.
