You are a specialist in the field of lead development and new business conversion. You are responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Field Sales Team.
The challenge
You will identify new business prospects from multiple sources, such as inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, sales-defined initiatives, CRM databases and Sales Navigator.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in the sales process. Your success lies in researching and qualifying good leads, as well as stimulating and developing recurring business activities.
Specifically, you are responsible for the following tasks:
- You are responsible for the initial contact and pre-qualification of inbound marketing leads and determining sales potential prior to assignment to the sales team.
- You communicate with customer leads/prospects via email, social media or telephone to overcome objections and determine if there is a need for our walls with the potential customer. You initiate communication with prospects and perform follow-up communication to qualify opportunities and move them into the sales funnel
- You work together with Field Sales to convert the leads into opportunities in our CRM system.
- You liaise with internal teams (sales, project leaders, R&D ...) for technical support and order management, prepare quotes where necessary and ensure follow-up to secure orders.
- You have a weekly meeting with the sales manager to discuss the state of affairs and further determine strategy.
The successful candidate
To be successful in this role, you should have a first relevant work experience.

- You are a fluent communicator and are able to always keep an overview.
- The word "customer focus" needs no explanation for you. We want to have satisfied customers and we need your help.
- You have a natural commercial flair and can assess situations well.
- You have technical insight and can analyse CAD drawings and read floor plans. Our internal walls are simple to set up, but must also be simple to explain and calculate.
- You are fluent in several languages and enjoy using them.
- The telephone is your best friend and you are not afraid of cold calling.
